Gene Therapy for Tinnitus
You may be familiar with notched tinnitus sound therapy like what AudioNotch offers. However this may not work as a cure for everyone. Gene therapy is being used to develop a treatment and potential cure for hearing loss, and possibly tinnitus. The most promising company is Frequency Therapeutics who have a drug that is in phase 1 testing (of 2). The drug is called FX-322 and is an injection into the eardrum.
